This niche employment practice established in 2006, based in Bath city centre, has developed an excellent reputation amongst its clients, both businesses and individuals, for the quality of its service.

The team advises a broad spectrum of clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

The firm is growing and is looking to build and expand its work by recruiting a Legal Adviser, Legal Executive or Paralegal to assist on all aspects of the firm’s work, including:

  • providing advice to employers and employees on work-related issues, including handling disciplinary proceedings, dismissals, grievances and appeals;
  • handling cases with Acas early conciliation and employment tribunal claims;
  • assisting with settlement agreements and protected conversations;
  • drafting contracts of employment and policies and procedures; and
  • organising and speaking at the firm’s seminars on employment topics to local businesses and clients.

This post provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, manage your own caseload, and to gain promotion to senior level. A focussed and organised approach to the provision of legal services is essential.

You will enjoy getting involved in the organisation and delivery of the firm’s regular seminars, and promoting the firm’s business by attending networking and marketing events.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, as well as an approachable professional manner and an enthusiasm for delivering client focused solutions.

The successful applicant will be educated to law degree/CILEx level with previous legal experience. You will possess excellent IT and verbal and written communication skills.
