Renney and Co is a law firm set up by Jennifer Renney-Butland in 2006. Since then the firm has grown and acts for clients across all areas of industry in the Southern regions. Our clients include individuals from all walks of life seeking advice on their personal contracts of employment, service agreements and consultancy arrangements, as well as a wide range of businesses, both large and small. Jennifer has over 20 years’ experience as a qualified solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Originally from Northumberland in the North-East of England, her clients know that they will receive sound practical advice, which is always value for money.

She regularly gives talks at seminars on recent employment law developments to business clients and also writes articles on changes in employment law for SOLO, the Law Society national magazine for solicitors who run their own practices. She was guest speaker at the 2014 Law Society National Sole Practitioner’s Group Conference in Portsmouth where she gave a talk to other legal practitioners on appointing trainees and growing their business.

Jennifer also represents clients at employment tribunals and is a skilled negotiator. She is a keen runner and sports enthusiast with a grown up family. Her favourite charities are the Princes’ Trust which helps young people to find work, as well as Help for Heroes and Blesma - charities which help injured ex-forces personnel get back on track.

In her spare time she can be found walking her English Bull Terrier in Victoria Park.
